Welcome to the new SUPERTALK! WRVC AM 930 was the first station licensed to WV and has been in continuous operation since 1923! Through a series of upgrades, WRVC has the largest coverage area of any station in our region - day or night. WRVC's FM can be found at 94.1 and covers an area from Catlettsburg, KY to Milton, WV! 94.1 is the second station in our market to be awarded an FCC license of this type and the first station in the market approved by the FCC to fully simulcast an AM on the FM band! Translation: You can now listen to 930 AM on 94.1 FM any time, night or day!
With the change to supertalk, there are a few changes to our line-up. Our popular ESPN Radio will still be on the air from 6PM til 6AM. 6AM til 9AM now features the Morning News from WV Metronews, with local coverage by our own Nate Gilcher. Viewpoint with Jean Dean is moving to the 9AM timeslot, with a rebroadcast of the 9AM show at 3PM. Metronews Talkline is remaining in its 10am to Noon timeslot, while the popular Ed Schultz is moving over from sister station WCMI to take over the Noon to 3pm slot. Woody Woodrum is sticking with us in his 4pm to 6pm slots with the Insider Sportline at 4pm, and on the ISP Sport Network the Insider Statewide.
